Dear Aiken Symphony Orchestra Patrons:

We want to take this opportunity to let you know what is going on behind the scenes with your Aiken Symphony Orchestra (ASO). Before we do, we want to say how appreciative we are of any support you have provided in the past.

We assume that the impact of this crisis on you, your family, and your friends is weighing on your mind.  Your ASO is facing similar concerns as well.  Behind the scenes, the ASO is made up of persons that have a passion for music and that passion, in turn, improves their quality of life. Non-profit organizations and their staffs have been devastated by the impact of this crisis.

Our ASO Board and staff realize that we will have challenges ahead. At this time, we believe that the ASO will operate as scheduled this fall and we will be updating you on our 2020-2021 schedule, as well as the postponed April 19 concert, soon. In the meantime, we are actively seeking the best options to fund our future operations. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at admin@aikensymphonyorchestra.com or 803.220.7251.

Lastly, I want you to know how much we appreciate you, our patrons.  We hope and pray that with the challenges before us, we can continue to provide beautiful music that will inspire you and enrich our local community.

Sincerely,
Thomas H. Herlong, President & the Aiken Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors
