Community Concerts

Community Concerts, which we introduced to Aiken in 2021, allow us to showcase small ensembles beyond the stage, playing classics in addition to some more familiar pieces at venues throughout the city. The concerts also give us the opportunity to interact with patrons in a more casual setting, which our musicians, board and patrons welcome!

What a wonderful start to this year’s community concert events!  Beer, Bourbon, & Bach, a signature season kickoff event, took place September 13 in the sumptuous lobby of Aiken’s historic Willcox hotel.  Music on the Green, held October 4 at Woodside Country Club, offered a bevy of fun and familiar string selections with Mother Nature’s jaw-dropping sunset as a backdrop!  Thanks to all who attended.
